Kore Design® plastic chairs are manufactured with an FDA approved Antimicrobial, which offers broad-spectrum protection and has been successfully tested to reduce up to 99.9% of common bacteria including E. coli, listeria and S. aureus.All plastics are subject to the spread of bacteria which can cause the spread of infection. When added to plastic, our antimicrobial prevents the growth and spread of bacteria on an object’s surface. This has been successfully tested to fight multiple pathogens including salmonella, E. coli, listeria and dozens of common, dangerous microorganisms. Our product is considered to offer broad-spectrum protection against organisms, and is FDA approved for direct food contact.
